They prevent fraying, increase the durability of the final product and, depending on the construction, fulfil both technical and design-related functions.<\/p>\n<p>Edging tapes are used wherever textile surfaces need to be <strong>mechanically reinforced<\/strong>, <strong>visually defined<\/strong> or <strong>reliably processed in industrial production<\/strong>. Typical fields of application include home textiles, mattresses and toppers, apparel as well as technical and medical textiles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"content__modul content__text\">\n  <h2>Edging tapes made from woven fabrics \u2013 straight-cut and bias-cut<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Straight-cut and bias-cut edging tapes<\/strong> are <strong>cut from woven fabric constructions<\/strong>. The yarns run <strong>at +45\u00b0 and \u221245\u00b0 to the tape direction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This diagonal yarn structure causes an originally non-elastic fabric to obtain <strong>transverse and longitudinal elasticity<\/strong>.
